How to Start a Chapter

Step 1: Submit New Chapter Application

  • Interested advisor or student submits New Chapter Application Form (see below) to verify campus eligibility

  • IPC HQ reviews Chapter Application (10-day review period)

  • Receive approval notification for student chapter

Step 2: Recruit 3+ Students and an Advisor

Step 3: Submit Chapter Registration

Step 4: Onboarding

  • IPC HQ sends Chapter Guidebook including Bylaws, Constitution, Responsibilities and an overview of the Chapter Program
  • Within 2-4 weeks, IPC HQ will conduct an on campus or virtual onboarding with the advisor, officers, and chapter members
  • Student Chapter will apply for Recognized Student Organization Status with institution
