How to Start a Chapter
Step 1: Submit New Chapter Application

Interested advisor or student submits New Chapter Application Form (see below) to verify campus eligibility

IPC HQ reviews Chapter Application (10-day review period)

Receive approval notification for student chapter
Step 2: Recruit 3+ Students and an Advisor

IPC HQ will make student member registration and advisor registration available for your school

IPC HQ sends Student Chapter Marketing Kit

Students and/or Chapter Advisor conduct interest meeting, webinar, or speaker to gather student member interest

3+ students make $40 individual payment and advisor register on ipcef.org
Step 3: Submit Chapter Registration

Chapter Advisor or Chapter Officers complete Chapter Registration
Step 4: Onboarding

IPC HQ sends Chapter Guidebook including Bylaws, Constitution, Responsibilities and an overview of the Chapter Program

Within 2-4 weeks, IPC HQ will conduct an on campus or virtual onboarding with the advisor, officers, and chapter members

Student Chapter will apply for Recognized Student Organization Status with institution
