Celebrating Excellence: Sebastian Carrillo Named Best Student Poster Presenter at IPC APEX EXPO 2025

We are proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of Sebastian Carrillo, a student at California State University, Long Beach, who was named the Best Student Technical Poster Presenter during our poster session at IPC APEX EXPO in Anaheim, CA.

Sebastian’s poster, “Large Area Enhancement of Metal-Insulator-Metal Plasmonic Nanoarrays using Hot Grid,” captivated judges with its innovation, clarity, and technical depth. He truly impressed the audience and is well-deserving of this recognition.

As part of the honor, Sebastian received a $2,000 scholarship to support his academic journey and ongoing research.

“This award is a great honor for me and motivates me to continue my research work and showcase my results,” Sebastian shared. “The scholarship will allow me to further focus on my studies and research projects by providing me with the funds necessary for my expenses outside of my education.
