Hands-on Soldering Activity at NC State and PCB Carolina

Date: November 13, 2019

Location: Raleigh, NC

Participating Schools: Fuquay Varina High School, Cary High School, Lufkin Road High School, East Wake High School, Middle Creek High School

Overview of Event:

The IPC Education Foundation and PCB Carolina share Project Owl with students in the Raleigh, NC area. These students built a circuit board with more than 20 components including an USB connector that allows the board to be programmed and tested.

Students learned: Component Identification, Component Function, Electronics Assembly, Soldering Basics, Circuit Basics
