Spotlight on Innovation: Attila Rektor Awarded Student Technical Paper Scholarship

We were thrilled to recognize Attila Rektor, a PhD student in Materials Science at Boise State University, as the recipient of the Student Technical Paper Scholarship at IPC APEX EXPO.

Attila’s groundbreaking research, titled “Flexible Hybrid Electronics Created from a Multicomponent System of Electroless Copper on Laser-Induced Graphene,” was a standout among student submissions. His work demonstrated innovation, technical depth, and real-world application in the field of flexible electronics.

As part of this honor, Attila received a $3,000 scholarship and a $1,000 award, which were presented during the awards ceremony on Tuesday, March 18.

He also delivered an impressive presentation of his research during Session 23 on Wednesday, March 19, at 2:00 PM, receiving well-deserved recognition from peers and industry professionals alike.
