IPC Student Member Scholarships

IPCEF will be awarding $38,000 in scholarships and awards in 2021. $27,000 are awarded to IPC Student Members for their accomplishments at the following IPC Student Chapters: Auburn University, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Gwinnett Technical College, Kirkwood Community College, Lehigh University, Michigan Technological University, NC State University, Purdue University, Texas Tech University, Triton College, University of California, Irvine, University of Maryland, University of Maryland - Eastern Shore, University of New Orleans, University of North Texas, University of Utah, and Valparaiso University.

The IPC Student Member Scholarship winners each receives $1,000 designed not only to reduce the financial burden, but also to encourage students to enhance their knowledge and skills of real-word industry-related experiences.

$6,000 are awarded to recognize students’ leadership capabilities, the impact they had while serving, and ability to plan and/or host successful engagement initiatives for its chapter members. These chapter leaders represent the following IPC Student Chapters: Auburn University, Gwinnett Technical College, NC State University, Triton College, and University of California, Irvine.

 


 

IPC Student Member Scholarship Winners

Name: Aathi Raja Ram Pandurangan

IPC Student Chapter: Auburn University

Personal Statement: "I am highly honored and thankful to receive IPC student member scholarship 2021. This esteemed scholarship motivates me to pursue my career further in the electronics industry. The scholarship helps by reducing my financial burden of graduate school and allows me to concentrate on more important aspects such as learning. I would like to use the scholarship support my research in electronics reliability."

Name: Adeniji Babalola

IPC Student Chapter: Texas Tech University

Personal Statement: "I am glad to have been noticed and appreciate the support of an outstanding institution such as IPCEF. Receiving this scholarship motivates me more towards my goals as I aim to acquire the knowledge and skill sets needed for my industrial engineering career. I once again would like to thank the entire IPCEF organization for minimizing my financial burned towards my education and goals."

Name: Alan Campos

IPC Student Chapter: California State Polytechnic University, Pomona

Personal Statement: "I would like to first give thanks to my mentors and my family for helping me obtain this Scholarship. I would also like to thank IPC for giving its members an opportunity to obtain scholarships in order to help us financially. these funds will help me relax my financial situation and allow me to put more focus on my academics."

Name: Arvind Srinivasan

IPC Student Chapter: Auburn University

Personal Statement: "Extremely honored to be receiving this scholarship once again. Apart from supporting me financially, the recognition of receiving this award from a reputed organization like IPC is what stands out for me. Like last year, I feel responsible to work harder on my research project. I intend to use the funds on my research project and participate in technical conferences."

Personal Statement: "I am extremely honored and proud to be awarded with IPC scholarship for the year 2021. The scholarship will help me continue working on my project smoothly and drive it to completion. A part of this fund will also go towards the photolithography course online. I am thankful to the committee for supporting the students . I look forward to being the part of the organization post-graduation."

IPC Student Chapter: Calhoun Community College

Personal Statement: "I am composing this letter to express my sincere gratitude to you for making the IPC Student Membership scholarship likely! I was thrilled to discover my selection for this opportunity and I am deeply appreciative of your support. I am majoring in Aerospace Technology and will be using these funds to further my education and pursue my passion in the field of aerospace. Thanks again for your generosity."

Name: Brenda Sanchez

IPC Student Chapter: Triton College

Personal Statement: "Thank you to the IPC Educational Foundation for awarding me the 2021 IPC Student Member Scholarship! This award will aid in advancing my mechatronics engineering education at a four-year university. Apart from the monetary support, this grant also means the opportunity to continue shaping the field of engineering for women and the Latinx community."

Personal Statement: "I am honored to be a recipient of the IPC Student Membership Scholarship. I look at this award as more of an encouragement than its monetary benefits. This award is recognition for my research work in the field of electronics reliability. Since 2019, I have been an active part of IPC, and IPC has helped/encouraged me throughout my academic career."

IPC Student Chapter: Valparaiso University

Personal Statement: "The IPC scholarship to me is an incredibly valuable resource that will allow me to pay for my school textbooks and tuition. IPC's education foundation has given me the opportunity to learn about circuit construction using techniques that follow real industry standards. If I have extra, the remaining funds from the scholarship will be used to allow me to go to the IPC Apex expo to learn from industry professionals directly about many of the modern techniques used to construct electronics. Overall, I am incredibly appreciative of the scholarship and it will be very helpful in allowing me to achieve my goals as an upcoming computer engineer."

Personal Statement: "The IPC scholarship allows me to further my education in the cybersecurity and network engineering world! This scholarship will be used to help pay for certificates in the networking field to further my education and understanding of the space. IPC Student Chapter: Valparaiso University

Personal Statement: "I am so incredible honored to have received the IPC Student Member Scholarship. I am currently pursuing a degree in electrical engineering and paying for college on my own, so this scholarship will help me alleviate my financial load. From decreasing my financial burden, I am now able to provide more time to expand the Valparaiso University IPC chapter. I have now been given more time to develop events to provide students with not only the opportunity to expand their technical expertise, but also their professional development skills."

Personal Statement: "IPCEF supported me throughout my undergraduate and now graduate degrees. As a Ph.D. student, this scholarship means I can focus more on completing innovative research and less time worrying about paying for education costs. Personal Statement: "This is absolutely a great encouragement for me personally. Electrical engineering is not an easy subject, so the scholarship will push me to study harder in the future in the field of EE and to contribute more to our club. This is also a great recognition of IPC@UCI, attracting more students to be one of us and to make it a competitive and tight community at UCIrvine. I will use the funds to both enhance my personal research and support our student organization daily operations."

Personal Statement: "I would like to sincerely thank IPC for everything they have provided me and every student. Since I joined Gwinnett Technical College's IPC student chapter, i have been provided with the absolute best resources and opportunities. All of the possible benefits are truly unbelievable. This scholarship means that I won't have to work so many extra hours to pay for my education. I can instead use those hours to spend learning about certain electronics topics, work on personal experiments, and spend more time with my family. My fund will be used for purchasing books, lab equipment, tuition and gas money for my drive to work and class.
